White Selvedge Denim – 1/2 yard
$ 10.25 CAD
This gorgeous white denim is screaming for spring – and, IMO, would look even better with a few popsicle & grass stains on it. ;)
This white selvedge denim :
-has a good weight (I estimate it around 12 oz) that should wear in beautifully over time
-features a gorgeous selvedge edge (perfect for a straight-seam trouser like the Anna Allen Philippas!). Please also note the shorter width, as is common with selvedge denim!
-is crisp, smooth and true white – a real classic!
Fabric Content: 100% cotton
Drape: Weighty with structure
Weight: Medium to heavyweight – estimated around 11 oz
Source: Deadstock via the NYC Garment District
Care: Wash on warm, tumble dry medium. Iron on warm with plenty of steam.
*We recommend taking a screenshot of this page to capture the care instructions, as listings often disappear when fabric goes out of stock!
Sustainability: Deadstock is high-quality fabric that went unused by the initial designer, fabric store or mill who ordered it – be it a big-name fashion brand, fabric mill or film & TV set. (Kind of like browsing the fashion industry's fabric stash.) Buying deadstock supports a circular textile economy, avoids net new production of harmful fibres and dyes & diverts high-quality textiles away from landfills. Pretty cool!
